And so it begins…

Having thought for some time about creating a place where I can expound on things that interest me, I am finally taking the plunge in 2017. We’ll see if I can actually find the joy in writing that I once did. I plan on publishing a post every two weeks that will come out every other Tuesday. The main focus will be marketing from a slightly different perspective, injecting a bit of humor and perhaps some of the frustrations faced in different settings. I will also address other topics that strike me as interesting to keep this an interesting mix and have it reflect other aspects of my personality. Only marketing all of the time is already more than well covered by others so my hope is that a little variety and quirkiness will add to the readers enjoyment. I look forward to comments by all. Corporate Identity Logos - Sample

Creating the visual identity of new companies or participating in the re-design for companies whose visuals feel tired or dated represents a series of compelling challenges. The overall look and feel of a corporate identity and how it fills out the brand architecture forces an in depth analysis of a business, peeling away layer after layer until we get to a conceptual idea that encompasses the whole. Really fun stuff.

My Portfolio: Browlab

In a little under three weeks, we went from concept to launch of browlab, the new standard in eyebrows. I was responsable for generating the identity of this new service, from the logo to the calibration cards, pricing menus and web presence. It was fun but busy as we continued to execute on all of our other initiatives.

Creating a dynamic look and theme for a broad retargeting campaign, I enjoyed the luxury of handling the strategy, executing the copy, creating the layout and then managing it all across the many variations. From brand oriented banners to promotions to teasers, the campaign included themes to reflect each and every service provided by this hi-tech spa.
